Refund Policy

At Blackout, each set of blinds is handmade to order with precision and care. Because our products are fully customized to each customer’s specifications, we do not accept returns. However, we stand by the quality of our work — and in specific situations, we do offer full refunds.


1. No Returns Policy

Due to the custom nature of our blackout blinds:

  • Returns are not accepted, including cases of change of mind or buyer’s remorse.

  • All sales are considered final once the order is placed.

  • We strongly encourage you to double-check all measurements, colors, and product specifications before placing your order.


2. Eligibility for a Full Refund (100%)

Although returns are ineligible, the following scenarios may qualify for a 100% refund:

1. Manufacturing Error

  • If your blinds are made with incorrect specifications (e.g., wrong size, color, or opening direction) based on the details you submitted.

  • You will be eligible for either a full refund or a free replacement.

2. Product Defect

  • If the product arrives damaged or defective in a way that prevents normal use.

  • Clear photo or video evidence is required for assessment.

3. Order Cancellation Before Shipment

  • If you wish to cancel your order and it has not yet entered production or shipped, we will issue a full refund.

  • Please reach out to us as soon as possible to request cancellation.

4. Shipping Loss or Failure

  • If your order is confirmed lost by the shipping carrier or fails to arrive, you may receive a full refund or replacement.

  • Customers are only allowed to initiate a refund after 30 days from the order date if the order has not been received. Refund requests before this period will not be accepted.

  • Shipping damage claims submitted before 7 days from delivery with photo evidence of both the original shipping carton.

3.  Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds for the following:

  • Incorrect measurements, colors, or details provided by the customer.

  • Dissatisfaction due to style preferences or a mismatch with home decor.

  • Products that have already shipped and are refused, returned-to-sender, or otherwise undeliverable.

  • Shipping damage claims submitted after 7 days from delivery without photo evidence of both the shipping carton and the product.

  • Refund requests for undelivered orders made before 30 days from the order date.


4. Not Satisfied? We Still Want to Help

Even if your situation doesn’t fall under the eligible refund categories, we genuinely care about your satisfaction. If you're unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please reach out to us. We may be able to offer an alternative solution such as a discount, partial refund, or a replacement at a reduced cost.
